A Rose That Smells Sweet, and Helps Sensitive Skin

Hello, Fireflies!

I have another Valentia product review for you today.  I can't help it - I'm really a big fan! Even my husband has asked me to repurchase their Scrub For Men, and I have to admit, his skin has never looked better.  If you have sensitive skin, I tested out their Royal Rose Hydrating Serum, and I'd love to tell you about my experience with it.

I don't have particularly sensitive skin, but sometimes, it does freak out. Am I the only one whose skin just goes crazy when under stress?  Over the past two weeks, both of my parents have been in the hospital for different reasons - and both my waistline and my face have been dealing with the effects of it.
There are lots of healing and soothing ingredients in Valentia's Royal Rose serum, from Aloe, to Chamomile, and lots of hydrating and protecting oils like Jojoba, Evening Primrose Oil, Rosehip Seed Oil, and also ingredients like Glycerin and Hyaluronic Acid.  It also has one of my very favorite skincare ingredients, Niacinamide, which works on wrinkles, acne, and hyperpigmentation, which are some of my biggest skincare concerns.

In addition to nourishing and moisturizing, it also has ingredients like Bearberry that brighten and bring radiance to the skin.  Bright, moisturized skin is youthful-looking skin.
Valentia doesn't skimp on the packaging, which is important to me.  I love a pump for serums, and even though this serum is creamy, it still works well with a pump.  It's also housed in an amber glass bottle, which helps protect the ingredients from light.

This serum is made and fragranced with the precious Pink Damask Rose.  It has a lovely, light rose scent.  It's the only thing I would change about this serum, because I love that Valentia sweet orange fragrance.  Can't get enough!

Some rose nailart! Over the white base, I made chevron tips with black and Sephora X Torque.  The roses were handpainted with black and Torque.
Not only has this serum helped bring my skin back to normal, I've also used it a few times on my husband's skin when he gets red from heat or rash.  It's skin-calming ingredients help to bring the redness down.  It's meant for dry and sensitive skin, but with my oily skin, it often does double-duty as a serum and a moisturizer.  It's light enough that it doesn't break me out, but still leaves my skin soft.

Like all Valentia products, they are made with the ecosystem in mind.  Not only are they made using sustainable energy, the formulas are vegan, 98% natural, and include organic ingredients.  They are also cruelty-free.  For more information, or to purchase, you can find Valentia on Facebook, Instagram, their website, or on Amazon, where their Royal Rose Hydrating Serum currently retails for $35.
