Am I A Diva? #DivasNeverAge

Press Sample.  All opinions are my own.
Hello, Fireflies!

A Diva is originally the name for the main female singer in an opera company.  According to Urban Dictionary, it's also a bitch who needs to get her own way, who is rude and belittles people.  Hmm.  I kept scrolling, and found another definition I liked better:  "a person who exudes great style and personality with confidence and expresses their own style and not letting others influence who they are or want to be."  Ok, I'm cool with that.  And, I'm cool with not aging, either.  So, maybe, this Divas Never Age serum is for me!

Certainly a case might be made that it's fairly unique - and Diva-esque - to have a serum be 10% Hyaluronic Acid and 10% Vitamin C, 94% natural and 85% organic, made in the U.S.A., be free from parabens and sulfates, and be vegan and cruelty-free.
Divas Never Age breaks down each ingredient and its purpose:
Hyaluronic Acid: Holds Up To 1,000 Times its Weight in Water, Delivers and Holds Water In the Skin. Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C) Reduces Inflammation, Promotes Elasticity, Collagen Formation and Protects Your Skin From Free Radicals and UV Damage. Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (Aloe Vera) has Anti-inflammatory and Healing Properties. Niacinamide (Vitamin-B3) Lightens Dark Spots, Reverses Sun Damage, Improves Skin's Moisture, Collagen Production and Reduces Acne. Arbutin (Bearberry Plant) is a Gentle Skin Brightener. Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract (Green Tea) Decreases Wrinkles and Prevents Collagen from Braking Down. Punica Granatum Extract (Pomegranate) Repairs Aging Skin and Helps Production of Collagen and Elastin. Reduces the Formation of some Skin Cancers. Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E) Promotes Skin Rejuvenation and has Moisturizing and SPF Properties. Moringa Oleifera Seed Oil Greatly Reduces Wrinkles and Slows the Aging Process. Caprylic Acid from Palm and Coconut Oils. Promotes Youthful Looking Skin and Supports Skin Cell DNA Repair. Lauric Acid from Coconut and Palm Kernel Oils. Reduces the Appearance of Fine Lines, Wrinkles and Makes the Skin Smoother. Potassium Sorbate is a Natural Antibacterial Found in the Berries of the Mountain Ash Tree. Citric Acid is an Antioxidant. Reduces the Process of Aging. Is Very Beneficial in Curing Sun Tanned Skin. Our Ingredients are 94% Natural and 85% Organic: Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice, Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid), Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C), Vegetable Glycerin, Niacinamide, Arbutin, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Punica Granatum (Pomegranate) Extract, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Moringa Oleifera Seed Oil, Caprylic Acid, Propanediol, Lauric Acid, Potassium Sorbate, Citric Aid.

Hyaluronic Acid was one of those ingredients that was a game-changer for me.  I never realized how much my oily skin could really benefit from hydration.  As a skincare newbie, I thought that oily skin had too MUCH of everything, and that's why it was oozing out all over my face.  Nope.  Oily skin still needs moisture, and hyaluronic acid helps the skin retain it.  And hydrated skin is smoother, plumper, and less wrinkly.
The Divas Never Age serum is thick, with a mostly clear/slightly milky white color, and a light, pleasant cucumber scent.  It absorbs super-quickly, with no residue.

My favorite type of packaging for serums is a pump, but I have to give this serum props for the uber-cute and still utilitarian packaging.  The amber color helps to protect the serum from light waves that can reduce the effectiveness of the ingredients. The dropper has this really nice gold detail, and actually works really well for this type of thick serum.

DNA-inspired nailart! The thumb has a base of Different Dimensions Retrograde, then I made the Cameo stamping decal with Sinful Colors Snow Me White, Finger Paints Black Expressionism, and LA  Girl Metals Iron Red.  The other fingers are painted with Ulta For Bitten and stamped with a filigree pattern in Black Expressionism.
When it comes to Hyaluronic Acid serums, I've found a lot of them that I like and that work well for me.  I think most can benefit from this particular ingredient, and many of the ingredients that are in this serum.  Finding one that follows your personal skincare - or lifestyle - philosophies of using natural, organic, vegan, or cruelty-free ingredients can be a deal maker or breaker for some.  I like the pleasant, light scent, too.  I can use this serum both in the morning and evening without any irritation or disruption to my makeup or skincare routine.  And my skin looks great!

For more information, or to purchase the Divas Never Age serum, you can find them on their website, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Amazon, where this serum currently retails for $37.95.  They offer an 100% money-back guarantee if you are unhappy with your purchase!

Have you tried a Hyaluronic Acid serum yet?
