Makeup and Nails in Browns and Greens

OFRA Blush Stripes and Forlan BB Cream are Press Samples.  All opinions are my own.

Hello, Fireflies!

I love brown and green together.  I have this dress that has patterns in browns with details in emerald green, and I decided to match my makeup and my nails to my outfit!

You can see part of the dress in this picture, along with the finished look.

For this EOTD, I wore Bronze Moon by Terry as a base, and used Clinique browns on the lid and deepened the crease with the green.  I used a deep teal eyeliner for a pop of color.

I am in love with this lipstick.  It was too expensive, but the color and the texture is perfection.  It's Sisley-Paris (my first!) in L3 (Rosewood).  It's mostly brown, but with a rosy bent.

There are some new favorites and some beloved products used for this look! The Clinique eyeshadows were a GWP, which I think is still available at Macy's.. I am so into these palettes that mix brown tones and greens right now.  This was the first time I used anything from by Terry.  I love bronze shadows, and Bronze Moon didn't crease on me and looked beautiful.  The Laura Geller i-care eyeliner in Rainforest is my fave teal eyeliner.  It stays on really well, even with my watery eyes.  The OFRA Blush stripes make for a nice rosy glow, and the two metallic stripes are nice highlighters.

I'll be doing a full review of the BB Cream - which is really just a moisturizing silicone-based primer (no color) but so far, I like it.  I'm even really liking the Laura Geller Baked Radiance foundation, though it does lean a little warm for me.  A light dusting of powder makes it look more neutral, and I love the glow it gives me.

Makeup used:  Laura Geller Baked Radiance Foundation (Light) and i-care waterproof eyeliner in Rainforest, It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Pressed and Brow Power in Universal Taupe, Forlan BB Cream, Clinique GWP eyeshadow quad, Sisley-Paris lipstick in Rosewood, Urban Decay eyeshadow primer and Perversion mascara, By Terry Ombre Blackstar in Bronze Moon (4), and Stila Brighten and Correct concealer.
And, here's the nailart I created to go with the dress.  I started with a beige base of Glitter Gal Tan Line, and then put Polish TBH Brandy's Mermaid Mixer on top.  It's a light pinkish-nude-tinted base with white, green, and turquoise glitters. Then I stamped with MdU brown and a Born Pretty Plate. I was going for an exotic feel, like I think the dress has.

Do you wear brown and green together?  What are your favorite products to put together for that look?
