Anti-Aging with Adeline Skincare#adeline

Product provided for review.  All opinions are my own.
Hello, Fireflies!

Even though I've been testing an acne skincare regimen, it doesn't come with a moisturizer, and moisturizing is important, even if you have oily skin! So, while I'm treating my breakouts with one system, I'm treating my aging skin with Adeline Anti-Aging Moisturizer with Matrixyl.

I've tested a few moisturizers and serums now, and there are some ingredients that I know I like that this moisturizer has - Hyaluronic acid, and Vitamin C.  Hyaluronic acid is an amazing compound that absorbs moisture and keeps it in the skin, making my skin look smoother and plumped.  This is so important for aging skin, because older skin doesn't produce as much Hyaluronic acid as it does when it's younger.  Vitamin C is also important for brightening dull skin and fighting free radicals.  Matrixyl is something I've used in a few moisturizers, but it's newer to me.  It creates more collagen, which gives skin its structure.  More collagen = less sagging = good.

This lotion has a light texture and a peppermint fragrance.  If you read my review of the peppermint B12 hand lotion, you know that I do love peppermint as a fragrance, especially for body products.  Fragrances are very much a personal preference, and I have to say that I'm not a fan of it in my face products.  The amount of peppermint oil in this lotion isn't enough to irritate my skin or my eyes, and the fragrance itself is nice. Is that weird that I love peppermint everywhere else, but not on my face?

Adeline Skincare makes this lotion in the USA, and it's made without petrochemicals, fillers, parabens, or Sodium Laurel Sulfate.  I found that this moisturizer worked well with my oily skin, and my acne-busting regimen.  My skin felt smooth and nourished, but not greasy. It absorbs quickly and without any residue.

I was inspired by the bottle when creating my nailart for today.  The base is Sinful Colors Snow Me White with a layer of Lilacquer Selkie for a little bit of green shimmer.  The silver is Essie No Place Like Chrome with a matte topcoat over part of it.  The logo was done with The Polished Mafia Big Earner and a teeny-tiny paintbrush.
For more information, or to purchase, you can find Adeline Skincare on their website, Facebook, Twitter, and on Amazon, where this moisturizer is currently selling for $35.25.  If you aren't completely satisfied, they offer a 100% money-back guarantee.
